First Blizzard Of the Season

Thursday night into Friday morning Long Island had it's first blizzard of the season. This house was super psyched. We had a little bit of snow on a few other occasions but nothing noteworthy. And this winter my girl is old enough to be excited to build a snowman and go sledding. We actually went outside for like 5 minutes last night while it was all going down. I am not going to lie, we had an ulterior  motive of getting our girl tired so she would go to bed.

We were super excited this morning to go out and play but temps with the windchill were below 0 and it was quite windy. I heard it was Long Island's coldest day since like 1988. Needless to say we could only have Liv out for a few minutes. To add insult to injury the snow was so powdery, we couldn't make snowmen or snowballs. Boo!! Hopefully this weekend. But I did get a snow photo op with my girl. See below.
